I have learned with acrylic paint, the more layers the more beautiful the end result.
Artists have different ways to approach their work and techniques vary, but for me, this seems to be it.
Lots of layers, texture and color & I am pleased with the result. I enjoyed every step....and yes, I did have a few moments where I was wondering 'what the heck?" The ugly stage. Artist, you know what I'm talking about. The part when you think you should scrap it, put it in the closet or paint over it.
There comes a time when we understand to trust in the what we have learned and enjoy the process.
'For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
