I am a beach lover...sand, sun and water.
Living on the west coast of North America allows me the privilege
of visiting the beach and when I am there
I always ask myself why
I don't go more often.
This week I have been painting a variety of seashells using different pigments and mediums.
Here are a few thoughts about seashells that I like to think about:
Seashells have provided protection for a variety of creatures and provide the convenience of a mobile home.
Conch shells have been used as musical wind instruments- should you need one.
And, when you are desperate to take a vacation and can't, putting your ear up to any shell can temporarily help alleviate the need...did I mention temporarily?
This is what God the LORD says— the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: “I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand.
